Comonot's Treaty, founded by Comonot and Lavonda, ended the Tanamoot-Goredd war forty years prior to Seraphina. Negotiations took place at the summit of a mountain during a severe snow storm; Comonot had assumed that Lavonda would not dare make the trip and so hadn't bothered to transform into his saarantras. However, with two goat girls as guides, Lavonda made it to the top. She was not intimidated by the sight of the dragons in their true form.
The treaty enabled an uneasy peace between dragons and humans, and dragons could live in Goredd in their saarantrai. They could not, however, assume their true forms.
